Importing from and Exporting to Object Files in Freestyle

You can import standard Wavefront (*.obj) files into Freestyle as described in the list below: • Imported geometry can be created from other subdivisional modeler tools such as 3D Studio, Maya, or MODO. • Imported geometry can contain multiple shapes. • You can control the facet units during import. • Flip the normal direction of the control mesh during import or by right-clicking from the Freestyle Tree. • There is a limit of 5000 control mesh faces. You can export geometry created in Freestyle to an .obj file to be used in other applications. Save the .obj file to the local machine.
