When a drawing is created, Creo uses a drawing setup file (dtl file) to set all the options. You need to create a new drawing setup file (dtl file) that is unique to your company and your drawing standards. That dtl file should contain the settings for options including font, text, size, and arrow length. If you have already done this for existing drawings you should be able to leverage this already-created drawing setup file.

This is a quick video demonstrating how to use the Solidy action in Creo Parametric. It is a quick and easy way to use a datum plane to "cut" an existing model without creating a sketch and an extrude feature which a lot of people do. I like this feature for making quick modifications to the KOP models when you're creating new, custom capabilities for your robot. We all like to use standard parts, but we also want to use them in some unintentional ways at times.
The second part of the video demonstrates how to use the Flexible Modeling Move action. By using the Dimension option, you can add parametric controls to your change and easily iterate your design as it evolves.... (Show more)(Show less)
Creo Parametric includes the capability to share your CAD design with Creo View, a lightweight viewing tool for Creo. The Creo View files are much smaller than the original CAD files and can be easily shared via email or file sharing. Creo View comes with some nice rendering option and the "tumble" capability which makes booth demos and explanations of your CAD design much easier than loading the full CAD model in Creo Parametric. Try it out!... (Show more)(Show less)
This video gives a quick example of how design teams can work together, collaboratively in PTC Creo with PTC Windchill. CAD files can be downloaded by multiple users to multiple work spaces and then updated when other users check in new changes to those CAD files. The out-of-date indicator in PTC Windchill should make it much easier for FIRST teams working in PTC Creo to work together and always have access to the latest CAD file being created and updated by their team mates. ...
