- In this tutorial you will work with model parts. Working with model parts focuses on navigating the 3-D model view to locate and select desired components. Locating components visually within the viewing area makes it easier to select groups of components by physical location. This method requires that you are familiar with the visual model and that you know the physical location of the parts you are seeking.

- In this tutorial you explore the Smart Explode command. The Smart Explode command performs two actions. First, it immediately explodes the selected component in Translation Mode automatically placing it far enough away from the rest of the model such that it’s bounding box is clear of all other components. This explode occurs along a single axis enabling you to quickly move a component out of the way. The second action is to dynamically open the Explode tab enabling you to create a sequence explosion of multiple components.
