Tutorial: Workshop for Developers 3: Global View Application

Workshop for Developers 3: Global View Application

Tutorial Overview

The Global View Application is a sample application showing how the ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps suite can be extended to build custom apps. In this tutorial, we demonstrate how OEE data from different data can be federated to provide a global view for executives. We are overlaying the plant level OEE on a world map with color coding to provide global view:

Developers can take this sample application, add their own plant OOE data and others for each of their plants and provide a global view for their leaders. This example along with other configuration videos/documents will demonstrate how quickly applications can be built using the Thingworx Manufacturing Apps.

Getting Started

Step 1 - Download the Global View App Package

Step 2 - Inside the Global View App Package, open the “Global View Application Installation and Configuration” document and follow the instructions.
